Chipping Norton Physiotherapy Clinic runs Pilates classes in both Chipping Norton and Woodstock.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is an exercise method dedicated to improving physical and mental health. It teaches good posture and improves flexibility and agility. It can help alleviate back pain. The aim of the exercises is to strengthen core muscles therefore improving stability, balance and body awareness. The Pilates exercises are fluid, low impact exercises that aim to increase sleekness and flexibility rather than muscle bulk
Our Classes
The classes we run are mainly mat work classes with occasional use of small equipment such as theraband or prickly balls. They are designed to be suitable for all ages and standards - the only prerequisite is that you can get on and off the floor!

The classes run as a course (generally 6 weeks) during term time. If you have no prior experience of Pilates we would encourage you to have a short 1:1 session before the course to teach you the basics. Feel free to call us with any questions.
